We’re pleased to welcome Dr. Marc Yacht to the GoToTell team of contributing bloggers.
Dr. Yacht was a general practitioner before he joined Florida’s public health system in 1987. Pasco County residents knew him for 20 years as the Director of the Pasco County Health Department. During that time he improved dental services to needy populations, increased primary-care services to the people of Pasco County, improved health department facilities, and improved relationships with community leaders and human service providers.
Dr. Yacht advocates a national system of health care that would provide universal medical coverage. He writes frequent editorials on health and human-services issues, serves as Editor in Chief of the Florida Medical Association quarterly magazine, serves as Vice President of the West Pasco Habitat For Humanity board, volunteers at the CARE’s Senior Clinic and, now, blogs at GoToTell.com.
He’s a fiction writer and a photographer, too. See his website.
Look for his blog here or click on “Blahg-Blahg” in the links on the left side of any page, then click on “Marc Yacht” under “Other Blogs/Forums.” You’ll notice that he hasn’t wasted any time teeing off. Check him out.
