Meet Jeannette Lee Carrero. The Hillsborough County Sherriff’s Department found her a room at the pokey Sunday.
The cops say she had “unlawful breath” (as in .165 percent on the old breathalyzer) about 4am near the intersection of Van Dyke and Whirley Road in Lutz.
No one was more dismayed, we suspect, than the four-year-old girl (presumably Carrero’s daughter), who was in the car with her at the time. We’re glad the cops showed up to prevent a real tragedy.
It’s one charge of DUI and one of child neglect for Ms. Carrero.
