State of the obvious

Change is the only constant.

Thank God, right? Seriously, do you know anyone who isn’t at least relieved, if not downright giddy, to know that President Fredo Corleone has finally delivered his last State of the Onion speech? Not to disrespect the office, of course, but the sheer sight and sound of this putz is enough to send more than a few of us into a remote-clicking, mouse-pounding rage. From where we sit, Dick n’ Dubya can’t hit that rubber-chicken circuit fast enough.

The same might be said of the old GoToTell.com. Good riddance. Reading that thing hurt our eyes, and we wrote the sombitch’! We hope you like the new version. The Fact-O-Matic and Fined Dining search tools need some work. Are you listening Mr. Website Maker? On balance, though, we think this version will be a lot easier to look at and a lot more inviting to anyone who wants to comment or blog. No more smelly registration!

And while you’re here, scroll to the bottom of the page and check out the News of the Odd video feed. If we’re not interesting or entertaining enough for you (always a distinct probability), something down there should make the whole sordid side trip worth the click.
